Hello! We are looking for an assistant to help me across many aspects of my life, personal and professional. For the right person, this job could be fun, rewarding, and stable. It could also lead to other opportunities.
My preferred schedule is 3-5 mornings per week, approximately 3-5 hours per day (e.g. 9-1), although that could vary somewhat according to my needs and your availability. For example, if I were looking at hosting an event every Thursday afternoon, maybe Thursdays would be afternoons instead of mornings.
ABOUT ME:
I am a multi-dimensional entrepreneur with lots of ways I serve my happiness. I’m really good at the things that I do, but I experience frequent deficits of attention and organization as I try to fit everything together. Being effective at my work and creativity while also taking good care of my business and myself has not proven possible for me. I need help. Since I was 19 years of age, I have owned my own business. It wasn’t until I was 26 that I took it on FULL TIME.
My creative and work passions include:
Helping people understand if you really want it, anything is possible. But in order for it to be reachable you have to do the work. It’s not only about wanting it, its about doing what it takes to get it. I grew up with a lot of obstacles and a lot of things preventing me from reaching my goals. Or so I thought.
I currently am the President of three businesses that I started on my own. A Plant Boutique, Metaphysical Boutique and a Cat & Dog Boutique.
Music. Writing lyrics, reading them and getting better at it! I Dream of.. Making it, recording it, publishing it… I would love to get something published.
Investing in. Currently I am focusing on building both personal and business credit so that I can build my portfolio.
I love creating high-quality experiences for others and myself. It’s what I do
I love nature and I love to travel. But without the staff and/or helps its hard to get away.

ABOUT YOU (JOB REQUIREMENTS):
A true desire to help. Much of what I need help with isn’t particularly glamorous (though some of it might be). I thrive most with people who are positive and inspiring are around me. With that being said, someone who truly wants to grow with me and my companies - and you’ll also probably gain a lot of useful skills and knowledge from me – it’s best if you’re motivated most fundamentally by a desire to help me personally.
Meticulous attention to detail, and very reliable systems in place for capturing, tracking, and following through on projects, conversation and ideas.
A meticulous degree of organization in your personal life and systems. I am not very organized, so you need to be double-organized so that you’re not tidying your own life while also trying to tidy mine. Notes are key!
A calm, kind, and supportive disposition would be ideal. This is me to a ‘T’
A love of making things clean and tidy. I love making things easy
Enough tech-savviness to collaborate fluently on docs, spreadsheets, calendaring, project-management software, online ordering, and so on.
An ability to both take direction willingly and also ‘manage up’ (e.g. making proposals as to how you can help solve problems that you see, letting me know what you need to be effective, etc).
A strong sense of self and an ability not to take things too personally. I tend to move quickly and change direction a lot. I also often require that things are done a specific way. While I am super down to optimize our communication and work effectiveness – and while I will care about you and about our relationship – it’s best if we’re not processing a lot of emotions related to our work together.
An enjoyment of working alone most of the time, with periods of interactivity as well.
Some degree of responsiveness to questions that might arise during off hours. (I am open to accounting for these situations in our compensation plan.)
Your own vehicle. (if you don’t have a reliable vehicle, I do have one that could be used.)
BONUS TRAITS INCLUDE:
Enough experience in a PA role that you know what you’re getting into and won’t need much training on how to think about this kind of job (though of course you’ll need training on the specifics).
A love of plants, all things spiritual and the earth (we only have one). I need someone kind.
A love of healthy eating and well-sourced ingredients.
The ability to drive one of my vehicles if needed.
A nuanced vocabulary, an intellectual curiosity, and a sense of wit.
Friendliness toward all people. Open minded.

I AM LOOKING FOR HELP WITH:
Meals! This is a big one. I currently spend a lot of money on food. I hardly purchase groceries and I basically never cook. Maybe one every two weeks as of lately.
Straightening up. Another big one. In my creative and ADD nature – I tend to start things and never finish them. With that being said, I also don’t have an office at either of my stores. This is part of why it’s so important that you have a service-oriented disposition.
Accounts payable – paying my bills and the bills of the business.
Packaging order, receiving packaged - unboxing the items, and breaking down and recycling the packaging.
Keeping things stocked and/or charged throughout the stores including office supplies, paper towels, etc.
Keeping my supplements stocked and apportioning them out so they’re easy for me to take.
Packing for events using a checklist and inventory list, and unpacking when I return.
Watering plants.
Light moving of product, especially for events and/or gigs.
Helping to set up for events.
Sending emails to people.
Selling things locally.
Running various local errands – shipping, car upkeep, dry cleaning, etc.
Potentially more business functions over time. If you’re interested and appropriately skilled, you might also help with:
Project-managing me / helping me to manage my time
Communicating with clients and vendors
Invoicing, making payments, and/or basic accounting
Light handiwork
Event production
